CC - I had to stop at the freeze of one's brain...thinking of how I get 'brain freeze' from frozen yogurt.  and then there was much imagery in this write.  I love lizards and how they pounce and jump --- of beauty and how it's beheld by any and all - of bees - yes, somehow this made me think of bees.  Photographs and memories, can build some pretty awesome dreams.  I liked this a lot, and I'm a fan.  EE

Thank you Sam, perhaps very often one should not listen to what becomes music for no apparent reason

Why is this ancient voice so soft and low?
I love this line and I think it happens because it comes to us in a haughty whisper! sam

Re:
Thank you Justi. Of course you are so right. I didn't have much time for memories when cleaning out 3000 chickens.

Re: Soothing
Well that is a lovely feeling Femia, but I guess it doesn't  take much to make you happy.

Re:
Well sometimes it is a blessing I expect Taps. It often brings up resentment and pushes one into a depressed mood if one is not careful. If you can  live in the present and  not always look forward to something better or back to something worse. You may find you have cracked it.

My goodness Femia that nearly took my breath away. What I don't like about sand is it cracks as one walks on the pavement, but on the other hand walking in wet grass is like sloshing through puddles. See you

Re: FS
Well FS I have learned to try to take comfort from most things some would once have driven me crazy. Thank you

I do find this poem to be comforting despite what I find to be an undercurrent that can indicate otherwise.

I am cursed with it... total recall of what I read as if I were watching it all over again... pictures taken of everything I see... Thankfully they are there silently unless I want to recall them... It was handy in college... studying was a breeze... but sometimes you remember things you rather have forgotten.  Great poem CC  xoxoxo

CORNCRAKE
I have a photographic mind that I can't get film for anymore old chap. Nicely done I say.

A photographic mind must be a handy tool indeed.  I wouldn't know.   I always had to put a lot of effort into remembering anything at all.

I do think a photographic memory is best put in a frame not to touch. You are a genius at this poetry stuff.
