cc you read so well between the lines and you really are welcome in the murky splurge. If you love someone truly you will be happy when they are happy. love means freedom so if they choose someone else to be with then you must learn to accept. I have been there and whether you agree or not you still love them and want them to be happy. It hurts when you see they are not. this takes skill. First forgive, then forget but never let jealousy, resentment or any other negative emotion taint the love that you hold which can remain pure. Unfortunately most of the human race have not mastered this. Love will always win!!!

To be Loved and loved is a gift of ones heart. Those who haven't are still seaking..To breath the gift of life is a breath of love. Don't fret about others they may find a way..You just do as you do and all will be fine. Lovely

Yes you are pretty tight to the line on this one lauren,. I like most of your poems, I'll let you know when I don't.
What I think would be the ultimate would to be desperately in love with someone and when they chose someone else. To be pleased for them because the person you loved was happy. It is a bit of a job to do this, but if you find a way please let me know.

re csherloc, the thing to do when that happens is to make sure you get rid of any resentment. That is all a total waste of energy. Be proud of the love you give out and only that.

We all have an idea of what our Ideal lover or friend should be, we go ahead and pretend that this is the one. Shortly or a long time after the truth reveals itself, bearing the sad or happy news.
