Shobana, this reminded me of when I was a young gal. My Grandpa and Daddy were big fishermen...My Grandpa seined for oysters and shrimp and at times 'crabs' would come in the nets. We'd have a feast sometimes - and then I went crabbing with them one time. I watched those crabs and their bubbles and even the mother crabs with that big orange sac and was told to toss them back...and I've had crab claws give me quite the scar. They can hurt. At any rate ~ this brought back so many good memories - Thank you. Elyse

I bet those little sand crabs have a complete city underneath the sand
that would make our hand-made sandcastles look awfully plain..
...great poem shobana, and the memories were beautiful, too.
