Re: CORNCRAKE Wiley
Yes I expect so Wiley, I remember watching a plane fly over and thinking I don't mind if it crashes on me. We all get the lows sometimes, but it is those poor folk who never experience this and suddenly it hits them and they have no protection. Nature always tries to protect. If this makes you feel worse, feel proud of moving all that compost, but don't shovel it back up.

Re:
Oh dear E. E I only feel sad when I am writing it, I must do a bit of light relief. A little bit of antique handling in the blog to Shobana, a good lesson.

Re:

Lo Shobana 6-34 am just put the dustbin out, do it in the morning or sometimes people throw rubbish into it. I must try and do these comment quicker or faster, or speedier. Yes I remember once I was selling an small antique table it was slightly damaged and I said quote,

One has to be careful with this stuff Jane and I touched the wall with it and and a leg fell off. Reduced for damage. I added quickly.

C.C....
shobana is right on - that feel of breaking an ornament is shattering to the touch (no pun intended)...and to walk through the sands of time spilled by the hourglass can be a sad and frightening thing....time waits for no one, even when the hourglass breaks...(perhaps we should say, especially if the hourglass breaks)....

CC ~ hmmm...hold the ornaments more closely - more as cherished.?  Is what I would consider.  but, that's just me.  This is 'sad' --- made me get a tear.  I will read this again.  Very rich and reaches out to touch this readers heart.  EE

CORNCRAKE
That seemed very sad and expressed to me the sand of life draining away, perhaps it's my mood and not your excellent writing my friend.

Gorgeous poem CC, excellent as always. I have had ornaments break in my hands and the feeling is just so crushing. Thanks so much for stopping by.
