Clearing the mind field
I had a roommate in college once who was (by my relaxed standards) a neat freak, but I know I converted him:  we watched one afternoon as a fly got too close to a dustball from under the bed and got caught.  I went over and stomped him (the fly).
Ginny doesn't like me to tell the story but I do.  On special occasions.

One can feel the speaker's frustration...The lace curtain barrier is the perfect way to express the speaker's feelings.

Very clever, I agree entirely with Sam's comments, the lace curtain barrier is so true and so clever.

A barrier of laced curtains was an awesome close! I thought there was great truth in this line:
This is what happens, when a good intention becomes over-zealous.  Right on! sam

Re:
Thank you E.E. I expect like you I sometimes write with an academic interest, I honestly like to use a Muse for love poems, but. no it's not you E.E. I just like you because you are so interested in everything. Also I have probably put any prospective subject off if they look at the photo. Yes I guess we are basically water and a few chemicals. Well I'll have some coffee try to dilute myself. C C.

ah CC and the lace curtains are just the right 'barrier' --- for the lace allows, still a peep.  I think sometimes people have good intentions as yourself but, it can be deciphered differently as we're all unique.  Now, watch the chlorine --- it's a stripper of natural germs.  We're all made up of germs now aren't we CC?  -- You're a delight.  EE

C.C....
ohhh, some of those mind sweeping matrons do get carried away trying to impress us with their cleaning abilities...they're genuinely frightening as the vacuum and sweep away angel and demon all in one fell scoop...I hope those lace curtains are strong....(a fun read, and how true it is how our minds need a good sweeping now and then, but not to the bare walls - there might still be some hidden treasures we can use...)
