Yes, one way or another you don't forget them.  Thanks!

Re:last couplet
Thanks!  It was my favorite, too, even though it took two lines.

Re: Bob, this is quite the list...
It does that even if I DO eat it fast.  You know, ice cream was to be one of the chief features of this poem, but I somehow forgot it!

Bob, this is quite the list...
not much to add comes to mind except perhaps a triple dip butterscotch ice cream cone on a day like today (86F)...what a delight! But, eat it fast or it'll melt all over the upholstery....

Re: perfect women
Hell, CC, I'm on the blogsite.  What can I say except that they're ALL perfect !

I was touched and made a little wiser, more self-aware by what you said.  "Unhappy as many men are..." was especially welcome.  I appreciate it very much.  I gave her your rose, and she says thank you, too.

Well it looks like some of us could ride around in planes Bob, my bicycle was rusty. Please give a rose to your wife it seems so sad somehow and for you Bob but it could be worse. At least you love her and you could have been unhappy as many are with what looks like the perfect woman. Hope you don't get many perfect women commenting on your site Bob or I'll be for the big jump.

tomato
No, make that last sentence ".. I couldn't make it last forever.  Had to fulfill its destiny as fine tomato.  Now it's gone.  I wish ..." Forget it.  Let's go back to the original.  Even tomatoes are complicated.  Thanks for the visit, Pat.  How are you?
