No greater love
than there is between a pet and their human.  I'll have to go back and find out what happened but I am glad your pup is on the mend.

I like the sense of coming home! And glad jag is improving, but wow, running would have had me in fits, too! Shelly

Giving dogs their medicine is never fun as this post shows. They can be worse than the average kid...Glad to read that you were able to catch up with Jag...I don't think I've ever hit 96 MPH in a car.

Heel?
Such cruel and unusual punishment, when there are scents to read and sort out. Sounds like a triumphant return so far. But the very idea of a convoy driving 96 mph is enough to scare the bejesus out of me.

I don't do 96 mph anymore.  I've finally outgrown having fun driving.  I can tell my reflexes are not as good as they used to be.  Big rigs frighten me now and I used to take them on anywhere, anytime.

Pappa
You have a sick baby on board and you are driving 96 mph. You may just put him totally out of his misery. Shame, shame. I am so glad he is improving.

back to walk the dog feed the dog :)
what a wonderful trip, you give me the desire to hop on over to Canada for a bit. I think Jag is doing great, :) it reminds me when I took my daughter's dog to the mountains and let her go, boy what a mistake, she was chasing rabbits until dark and wouldnt return, I got scared. At least jag knows you enough to listen..

I feel your sense of anxiety when he rushed off...you know I understand that poodles can rush as fast as the whippet I once had...and he raced at times near 30 miles an hour if he got going.  I had an afghan, the same.  Oh I am glad he's healing more and more though.  and I'm very impressed he 'heel's.  Mine wouldn't know what I'm talking about.  I really should have taught them all that.  You enjoy the rest of your journey Naut and I do hope your hand is going to be fine - Thank you for letting us know how y'all are doing.  Elyse

What a wonderful trip and Jag seems to have held it all together very well
over such a long drive and Motels and all. That was certainly fast driving the last part.
