Just a horrible start to your new life in America! It is very sad, but one can be proud off being a survivor! sam

It's truly sad
Living with abuse is difficult no matter where you are living, and much harder when you have no one to turn to.

A horror story indeed. I heard some statistics today that made me so upset--a child is abused in the USA every minute, and four children die every day from abuse. We have turned into monsters.

There was no where wonderful to turn to at this point in life...So easy it was given the circumstances to become withdrawn. Thankfully you did not fall completely through the cracks.

How terrible that the strange devil was not arrested. Where were the other adults in all this? I will try to be more vigilant myself if people around me seem in distress.
