I think a little of the child always remains in the person who is grown, no matter what the age. That's part of the beauty of the human.

It is so touching! I know how the tears can fall, I have a son who lives 2,500 miles from me! It is so horrible when he has to leave! I felt the impact of the emotion, deeply! Alas, they grow up and make their own way, we never seem to be ready at the time they are for some odd reason! Just be proud that you have raised them to seek out new and exciting adventures! Love you dearly, and I have a tissue when you need it Sweetie! Your sam

I imagine that being a parent can be difficult with those bittersweet milestones children undergo. I like to think that it all works out for the best.

sometimesbeing a Mum is really tough from those first days of wondering if
you can manage thismothering thing with such a tine creature dependent on you for everything through the years of ups and downs and then letting go...the hardest part of all. You are a wonderful person and fabulous Mum...obviously.....
