...Exactly! A question I've asked myself a million times. The only thing I could come up with was that they were tied to their mothers and didn't want to get 'in trouble' with them, by having a divorce. Also, some types get a kick out of having someone to stomp on daily. It's a control thing with some....there can't be a 'superior' being without an 'inferior' one.

Amazing how the person who is cheating will lay all the blame on the

one who isn't and if they know you aren't cheating then they destoy your faith in yourself by letting you know how worthless you are. You tell yourself you aren't worthless and you recover...partially....then they work at you again. Yes it seems to take about twenty years before you snap and leave.

What I really would like answered is why do they hang on when they don'tlove you, when they prefer to have a sexual life with someone else. When you appear to have so many faults and they obviously don't trust or even like you.

These stories you have told now bring to light what happened to your previous marriage. I can't believe how suspicious he was of you. Unbelievable he was.
