CC - hearty poetry always makes me pause and reflect --- this is so real and raw ~ it touched me from the lock of hair to the end of this poem.  How you write well, with a flowing pen and I admire.  EE

Re: "calling me to search for something that can never be"...
Well Rumour not if the option is open, but when it is too late I really was dealing with specific cases we are not talking normal here more personal. Of course you are right.

To late to say I love you...I don't know, but I do know about lost things unwritten. Good job.

The Sad Sunday Poem
If I got your drift, I think all of us may have had something or someone eluded us forever.

You capture the possiblity that "I love you" may not really be for the best so well.

"calling me to search for something that can never be"...
C.C., are you sure? Is it ever too late to say "I love you" to that special one?  They may be cruel words, or kind.....

Re: bUT THE BEAUTY OF AN UNTRIED LOVE IS THE PERFECTION OF THE DREAMS
Kabu I think I shall have to think more about the gnomes if it wasn't so late and the only good film for a month is on tele, I think the little jokers would be tumbling all over the carpet. Yes I get your drift Kabu it still feels nice to just love someone.  I would write about other things but the onus seems to be this kind of emotional poetry. no one wants to read about getting rid of rats or the time of the big foot and mouth scare if you can think of an easy subject. And don't forget about that animal I think it began with K something about clinging to an old tree Not a Koala. Do you really think I am A rogueGotcha.

bUT THE BEAUTY OF AN UNTRIED LOVE IS THE PERFECTION OF THE DREAMS
tHERE IS NEVER THE MUNDANE THE BILLS AND THE WORRIES OF REAL LIFE THE LITTLE IRRITATIONS TO DESTROY THE IMAGE.
