He is adoring and adorable ~ I'm certain it's not even in his mind about his reacting to you with his teeth...but, I would understand your residual hesitation. I think you're wise.

There is only one other Canadian animal family member that I know of that
is so cared for and so spoilt because he too is all important...and he to knows it.
