I think it a good sign he was still observant and ready to protect his 'territory'...but yes, I do know the 'shhh and then shut it up' when first thing in the morning often my pug raises his ruckus. LOL ~ Elyse

Dogs in motels... yeah...

We had our first try at that on our latest trip to Colorado and back. One night only in a motel... and Davy was a Good Dog just about all night. It was a relief to pass that test.

At least, reading of you and Jag, it occurs to me that other people might choose to keep their noise down if they fear it will set off the dog in the room next door. That's okay with me!

Sounds like a fun adventure. The way you describe the room sends the perfect visual. I love to travel and to read about it is a close second. Thank you for the vacation by proxy.

I love your "travel with dog" log. There's a great luxury inn, right on the ocean outside of Portland, ME, that not only accepts dogs of all sizes, but doesn't care how many you bring! Lodging establishments are starting to cater to canines now - in the States at least....Mal

Many exsmokers that I know hate it when cigarette smoke is around them, especially in places where it should not be like the room you had...A funny story with you and Jag at night...Kabu has quite the comment there.

LOl at Kabu's comment. Tell me Nautikos, That smell was the buzz smell? Very common in the area. And good for Jag - he was doing his duty!
