Re:
Oh dear Shobana this is a dismal blog. I felt old at 25 older at 50  and now well I don't think about. I can assure you if you can keep young in your mind and with a bit of luck you will find the happiest days are to come. We must all try and be more cheerful, don't ever stop dreaming.

Re:

Well Taps keep this secret. Woman I think should marry younger men than themselves because they hang on longer. I could continue this theory as it probably suits me.

Quick partially true joke a woman said this was my third husband not to me but to a relation , Now I have got to start over again.  I would have loved to have said Madam my card I am a Funeral Director.

Re: those haunting eyes and that haunting reflection can so easily
The problem is Rumour, Well I think they still remain in the memory and can sometimes distort what is real.

One never knows how a relationship will proceed or how one's feeling about another person will proceed if at all. So much can happen. I like how open ended you leave it at the end there.

It would be sad indeed CC knowing someone and yet not to have met and to find out that they passed on in the obituary..why the process of growing old sometimes I wonder, the biological clock should have just stopped at a certain number like say 50 and not move on so that everyone can be young and really enjoy the fullness of life...as usual dreaming here. Thanks for the visit CC.

Growing old is special.  Growing old with the one you love is very special and also scary.  No one wants to be the one left behind when that time comes of "sunset and evening star" and the crossing of the bar.

I shall grow old but without regret and without cosmetic help.
Regret is wasted precious time and cosmetic surgery would be expensive pain.

CORNCRAKE
Aging's a bitch and I think I'm older than you are so I feel badly but couldn't phrase a response as skilfully as you did with your wonderful talent.
