Re:the comeback
Thank you! I've often thought since then that yeah it WAS pretty good - surprises usually leave me tongue-tied.

Re:love backstage
I've never seen it end happily.  But as for courses in acting and directing, I've taken one of each, and the acting teacher, after watching me in in an Ibsen scene, told me not to give up my day job.  He said something else about my performance that I'd rather not repeat.  Really. But I just ignored him and went to auditions.

Re:poet and actor
.i can't help wondering what would have been in store if I were a plumber and could fix her Plymouth too.

A poet and a actor, I can't emagine she would stick her tounge down the throat of someone she really didn't want to?

Z I took Shakespeare and acting. We covered plays in directing. But um we can rehearse on stage in real life for love backstage, eh BC-A, Bill’s RJLst

Re: actot
Thanks - it's always been some kind of community theater, so all money goes to the group.  Not us.  We were happy amateurs.  But it was invaluable experience when I was teaching a play in English class.

I think you're right on both counts.

Re: the tongue
You bet, you rogue!  My reputation soared - and I had nothing to do with it!

Well she didn't take much persuading Bob. Dare I say the after experience was sweeter on the tongue .

Kind of a mean practical joke on a beginner, but sorry she took a chance that went bad.  There is no telling what it takes to make it big.  It doesn't always seem to make sense and seems to depend on fads.
