I like your approach, and I wish all my clients would understand it that
way too, when you call a spade a spade.

Re: YES THE ANSWERS WERE HONEST BUT NOT REALLY SOMETHING
You are a wise woman. He was honest, but not very helpful! Foreclosure is coming in October. The stress will become very intense and I think decisions will be made, temper will flare--hoping for the best, preparing for the worst.

Very rare it seems to find an attorney such as the one you describe. That lawyer did the right thing by telling you that he felt that you would not win out in the end. Hopefully your daughter straightens herself out.

YES THE ANSWERS WERE HONEST BUT NOT REALLY SOMETHING
TO SING ABOUT....ONE WANTS HER TO BE WELL AND BE A GREAT MOM...BUT I UNDERSTAND YOUR FEARS. A CLOSE WATCH IS I SUPPOSE ALL THAT YOU CAN DO AT PRESENT. PERHAPS IF SHE CAN'T PROVIDE A HOME FOR THE CHILDREN ..IT WILL ALL CHANGE. I KNOW A FAMILY..THE CHILDREN GREW UP TO HATE THEIR FATHER BECAUSE HE IS BI-POLAR.

Re:
Yes, it is a difficult situation. Unfortunately, there are no fathers to step in and stabilize things. I intend to keep a close watch on the situation and do what I can to provide support for the children. Suicide is always a possibility in these cases, but it does so much damage to the children and family. Thank you for sharing, Taps.

What a difficult situation for you. It will give you something to worry about for years to come I am sure (from personal experience). My three FL grandchildren have been through the mill. Even though their life is so much more stable now with a wonderful step-mother and great homelife, I'm sure that they will have future repercussions from their sad times in the past and the death (suicide) of their mother. But, they do have love and understanding and support from all sides.
