- Go to Jag, My Doggie…Part VI
Ah but you do have 'human'ity thoughts as well...you know I think this often myself when I go through and went through trials with my beloved animal partners and pawed children. I feel as you, they are like little children that deserve the best we can give them for they are defenseless most times. At any rate, off I go to finish reading your account here. Elyse

Like you I tend to go above the speed limit as well. Usually the cops in the area spot us ten miles above the limit...I say that if taking care of your dog makes you happy, then do it. I don't think it's fair to a person when someone says, "You could be doing more to help so and so." If we all did, we would never rest and be broke.

You are such a wonderful doggie daddy. It makes me wonder once again how anyone could mistreat or neglect an animal or a child.

They look at you with such trust, how could you not do everything
you can and then some. If you think smuggling pills down a dog's gullet is tough, try it with a cat. It's hard when a friend has to go through such misery. I hope your Jag is back to normal by the time you finish the trip and you both have an enjoyable time.

The flooding is devastating, but you are here, and so is Jag, and he needs your help. Family first - I agree. I understand your feelings about Jag; I've been spending nights up with Bud when he is in pain. What we wouldn't do to have them in full form running circles around us, right?

My cousin is flying out here from Toranto on Wed, at which point
I am going to show her our beautiful landscapes and other treasures. In a few months I will fly out to canada for her to return the favor :)
Is the dog the only responsibility that you have in you care, as far as family goes?

of course he is family and when we buy this trusting unconditional
love we take on a responsibility to ensure their life is as hunger free and healthy and happy as we decided it would be by accepting them. A true responsibility not just a cute whim. Sometimes when their life span is almost at the outer reaches of expectancy we decide to end their misery.....I wish someone would do that for me one day.....but otherwise we do all we can for them. He's a brave and precious baby doggie and well done for all the responsible love you are giving him.

Like you said, Naut, he is family! And we need to take care of the creatures that give us joy while we are on the earth! I hope he is feeling better every day! Shelly

The folks at ell said my hard drive was corrupted! Lionrien and Vickip. have both given me help! I can at least read the document I did have them on disk and flash drive! It is just so depressing to be changing them to another program! One day I will get the external dive, I know I will! I love the stretch of Canad from the Falls to Windsor! And another section heading east out of Sault Ste. Marie Canada heading east!
