Re: Empty Vessel/Response
Yes SCS, I am not an empty vessel. I was once. I'm so glad that it is obvious I am not. I write from experience, from my own and from others. What I write comes through the hand of God, for encouragement, inspiration, or to relate to and give hope to someone else. I want people to see Jesus and what life is without Him. It then isn't me telling them, just pointing them in the right direction. Poetry can do that. Thanks for your comment. God's blessings upon you. love and joy, Kay

Empty Vessel
Hi Kay,----now I know that you are not an empty vessel, too much good stuff is coming out of you. You are speaking for those who are ,or think they are, and warning some what to look for in an empty vessel./SCS

I tried to find your poem "Prophet of My Heart" but, I couldn't find it. I did look at and read some of your work. You have been writing for awhile. Good insight. Thanks for sharing. Will look again when my eyes are more open. love and joy, Kay

One can only keep by giving away to those who need.
The more we try to fill ourselves, the emptier we feel--one of life's mysteries.

empty vessel
If you knocked off the last two lines, it would remain a prayer - and, maybe, a better poem - but that's for you to decide.
