I'm not sure which I enjoyed more - the sentiment or the manner in which you expressed it. Well done!

Re: remember
Well I expect you do soar Bob after floating down with the last straw, this was meant to be a poem in physiology but then I am simple minded. I would like to get one of those electronic books that are coming out one could install the full Oxford I expect, sometimes you guys use words that I have never heard of I think the American dictionary is free , a lot of your words are more simplistic which is good really color instead of colour although I can't get used to it . Do you wear odd socks I do sometimes. Hey I'm suppose to try to cut down on comments. Be lucky

Re:
Thank you Shobana I note no one has said they would pass between the lanterns, but then perhaps the past is sacrosanct. Hope the work goes OK, don't over do it

Thank you Simone you are still young in your mind and that is the beauty of life, even if one is surrounded with sadness.

CORNCRAKE
I liked that and felt this very deeply somehow. "Between the black quilt of star-less skies, to rest in history." Makes it almost inviting. Well done my friend.

I am always partial to work that deals with the theme of time. The way it seems to pass at different rates has always intrigued me though of course we know that a second is still a second. Excellent poem!

A fascinating poem, C.C.
I like the quilt ending. I've always loved quilts and it makes it all sound comforting.

This is a very lyrical beauty of a poem! I'd be hard put to explain certain lines, but for me, it soars. ( But then, you know I have no taste.)
