Just caught up with all the posts after a break--get well wishes and prayers for your sister. Yes, inner peace is the most important thing, even if difficult to achieve!

And, it's the most difficult to grasp and to hold, but definitely worth the having.

How incredibly true and well expressed, Ash..
Looking beyond the wars of earthly ego settles them and thereof is born peace. It is tragic that many others cannot see this; innocent lives would cease to be destroyed. But we do what we can and turn what we can't over to a higher power; no matter a particular religion or none at all - can be our own intellect that we mediate upon. For myself, it is one God, in all shades and beauty of whom He created, who is liberating and loving, waiting to listen.
May your sister recuperate and thrive, thoughts and prayers sent.
