Islamic terrorist attacked this nation from basses (training camps) from inside Afghanistan where the Tailban, who were in control of that country (since our country gave them the weaponry to chase the Russians out a few years ago) let them use.
The problem is that since the second world war America has not used the full force of its military to win any war, so the ugliness drags on and on and on. I believe that if we are not willing to use the full strength of our military to win and then get out, that we should not go in the first place. That we should not lose a single American life for any half a_ _ed effort on the governments plan to play war. The Constitution lays this all out.
I also believe what justi said.

The original plan was to weed out terrorists, Bin Laden being the leader and mastermind behind the twin tower attacks was the hunted. Terrorist cells such as the taliban were to be taken out as well. Now? I am just not sure. The only true way to fight terrorism is with terrorism. We do not use what they (terrorists) fear most.
