who put it quite frankly, picturing it in my head it sounds like an old english scene. I also agree that its a nasty subject

I understand about the 'passion' part. Passion certainly helps, when writing. The only other thing is sensationalism; which people want...(?)
Politicians bore and disgust me. I've had the opportunity of being in on interviews with several of them, through my volunteering with the local community editorial board, with the newspaper. I have found the majority of them to have been full of themselves, and very plastic. There were a few here and there that surprised me, but basically no one out there breaking any molds.
If you find one that has a good and honest heart, there's something of a novelty to get passionate about. Do they have any of those in the region you're writing about? Because that would be refreshing!!!

politicians --HAH!!!!!
Wonder how many of these people who want to micro-manage our lives -can change a tire? --Oh, well actually I guess they DO know how. It's something like this: " Say now Jeeves old man,there seems to be some --difficulty with the back wheel... could you please do -whatever you do - to alleviale the situation ? There's a good chap. " --And I guess that's how you do it.

I feel like the most needed news in the world right now is truth about politics. The corruption is greater than it has ever been.... I am sorry you don't like it because it effects all of us whether we like it or not and now it is really a high point of crushing to millions.
