Corbin, do you not understand what I have been saying?
RSM DID make racist comments, in fact YOU make racist comments. The Muslims ARE a race, just like the Jews are a race. Look at the pages I gave links to where they talk about 'race'. By all logical manner of what defines a race, the Muslims are a race.
I think you and RSM and so many other are greatly confused about what defines a race of people and that is why you do not grasp that you too often make racist comments.
And even if the Muslims were not a race, it is still ignorance and bigotry to make the manner of comments you and so many others so. There is no justification for the hate promoted by your ideas.

Does showing this level of pure ignorance that you live your life in ever get old for you? I mean I would think after making yourself look to be a total and complete fool at every turn that you would start to feel embarrassed at some point. I guess you are living proof that ignorance is bliss.

Thank you for your support,but it really does feel like it is time for me to move on. I have so much else I should be focusing my efforts on and Blogit just is too much of a distraction for me any more.
If it was only the negative BS that is becoming so over powering here as of late, I might stay, but there is so much more. I've been thinking about it for a while now and with me getting involved in making short films and the podcast and such, I really think it is time.
But keep if I really do leave, you can still keep track of my thought and my preaching the truth at amateurskeptics.com. More then likely come the beginning of October I will be moving on though, or at least that is the plan right now.
And I share you hope, but I know there are some who are just beyond help and will never allow themselves to be educated.

Corbin is nothing but hate. His comment was left out of hate and ignorance. Trust me, I responded to him in a manner of equal respect to his comment. I have deal with Corbin for too many times to believe otherwise. If I tired to be nice to him in any manner, he would just mock me all the more. I tired the nice, rational path with him way back when and all it got me was more mocking. I grew tired of it and no longer plat that game with him.
Also, my reply was not out of hate, just frustration. I can honestly say I do not hate the guy at any level. Now I do hate what he stands for and what he tries to promote, but I do not hate him. As I said, way back when I was respectful to him and tired to get along with him by reply in a polite respectful manner to those kind of comments. He response was to mock me more. When I got more aggressive he fell back because he was not able to bully me around like he so desired to. That is why now days he does most of his attacks against me on blogs I cannot post on.

I REALLY hope you will stay. You are right that it is not easy to go through the negativity daily and try to spread truth to those who don't want to hear it.
Everyone has a breaking point, and you are right that it can't be healthy to carry that kind of hate 24/7.
When you start feeling the negativity, it's a good time to take a break. Work on something else, post in your other blogs that aren't as controversial, but stick around and spread truth again when you are able to release the negativity.
It helps not to read their posts for a while too. You will never understand the logic that is in some of these people's minds. They are fixed and will always be so. Yet I still have hope that a larger part of the population can still be educated.

I would just like to make an observation here. You have been here for a long time, you do have many posts. Take a look at your comment section. You are preaching against hate yet, your comments are full of hate. Corbin commented on this post and while the comment may have been snide, I did not get the feeling on hate, yet your rebuttal is seething with hate. Take this for what it is, my opinion.

What you describe is the ideal Blogit. The problem is those who are promoting the hate and bigotry do not wish to hear the truth. if you confront them with facts they will first off mock you and attack you and do all they can to scare you away, even to the point of trying to driving you off of Blogit by making it so that anything you say is attacked just because you said it. If that and you still stand your ground and hold to the facts and keep pointing out the truth to them, they will block you and do all they can to pretend you don't exist, although at that point they will still attack you, but they will do it on blogs that have blocked you so that you cannot defend yourself.
So far reason and morality have NOT prevailed on Blogit. In fact it has been going the other way for some time now. I was very surprised that the one blogger who was spitting out his racist views was finally banned. He had been making similar comments for some time, openly breaking Blogit policy in just about every hate filled post he wrote. But reporting him did little good, until he straight out called for the extermination of all Muslims. At that point the Blogit masters could no longer ignore him and had to take action.
The hate mongers are doing all they can to take over Blogit and make it into their personal little hate feast where propaganda and lies rule. A place where they can spread messages of pure, unedited hate and ignorance as much as they please.
I have no desire to be part of such a place and am fairly sure that I will be leaving here after one more month to give me time to really go though my post and clean out what I want to keep.

Muslim, like Judaism can refer to BOTH a race and a religion. Any race can be Jewish after all. Yet the Jewish people are a race as well. Same with the Muslim. Nothing inaccurate or misleading about it.

I do not have the aforementioned info or facts, the good thing is, after one posts offensive stuff, several other bloggers have a choice and a chance to refute or support same. I feel that on blogit reason and morality will prevail.
