Grandchildren are so wonderful. Tiny ones are especially good at soothing troubled hearts.

Just trying to catch up a bit here and there, in this case here, lol. But I have an excuse - you've read about my recent tribulations...Tomorrow morning the doggie and I are off to Halifax...And please give my best to the Cricket if you talk/write to her...

Thanks FSI
I had been missing Cricket's posts too, so dropped her a note to see if she was okay, thus the update.

LOL Pat B
Now that dude's reaction was the HEIGHT of frustration!! I'm not sure I'd have yelled it over the speakers..then again, if I had been putting up with rudeness as long as he has, one never knows. I certainly would have slid down the chute with the beers!

LOL - thanks Sam
I was still wondering about that déjà vu thing!! Yep - high speed diminishes the frustration somewhat.

Fortunately for me, the company pays for it, at the moment anyway. It takes away my excuse for not working weekends.

Those bouncy grandchildren of mine never fail to make me smile! Looking at them reminds of what is REALLY important.

You could be sure they would pop their little slithering heads up if I'm around, LOL. Isn't that always the way? Enjoy your retirement - you deserve it!

Stinky days are indeed a pain. I'm glad to read that you have humor in spite of it all. That goes a long way towards making tomorrow a better day...Thanks for the update from Cricket. I've been missing her posts.

Sorry about the stinky day, but I like your way of dealing with it.
Much better than yelling "Eff You" over the speaker system and escaping through the back door like our friend at Jet Blue. I know you'll like the faster internet, and the $80 savings will buy some serenity candles...

It will be so worth to not have to go in on weekends and the saving should offset what it will take to get away from the other provider in time! Such a convenience sometimes is worth the cost! I hope you have a much better day tomorrow! And I have been meaning to tell you that you had read the poem before, I forgot to put re-post on it! It always amazes me when someone remembers a poem I have written! sam

Great about the high speed internet and office hook up.
Stinky work days when I read about them add to my pleasure of retirement...selfish sounding I know but I know those days and I am sorry you have to endure them.
Oh and I can almost guarantee you won't see a snake here....they are difficult to find. It's just that we know where they like to lie.
