Lol........You are soooooo right on here. One of my dogs, a lab/shepard mix, will always greet me at the door when I come home. She gets her scratch behind the ears and she is off. Wonderful!!!

What a great post.  All the way through it I was seeing my Dad and his Dopey, Richard and his Andre, Aunt Evva and her Brownie.  Wonderful memories of loved ones, and doggies that are no more except in memory.

Hi, Sweetie....

My cats and I commune in much the same way......I dance and one looks at me like I'm crazy or adorable, depending on what I fed her....and the other one talks to me the whole time and tries to climb up my legs to get into my arms.  They both run to greet me at the door just like dogs do and roll over to have their tummies rubbed.....and they both treat me like a human rug....I've often almost wet my pants because I don't want to get up and disturb them from such incredibly comfortable positions on my body.

I've written a couple of things recently that a couple of folks have reflected back to me as thinking they needed to be put to music....I didn't write them with that in mind....and they are probably too much of a feminine voice for you, but if you want to give them a shot, you are most welcome to.

Someone said it is OK to talk to your animal but when you start telling
others what doggie is saying...you have gone over the edge. If that is the case then the way we tell you all about Mr. Graysome means Wiley and I are a completely lost cause. You know that I have thoroughly enjoyed this post ...and am going back to read it again.....You've gone from being one of my fave reads to ....continuing being one of my fave reads.

They have much to offer as you say! I recently read where a dog bit off an owners finger, or maybe thumb because it was infected and going to cause great harm! So, I do not doubt you get your answers! sam
