This poem is exactly right for me today.  I went to bed late, slept heavily, dreamed crazy dreams and woke myself up laughing out loud so heartily that the bed was shaking.  First time I can remember that I woke myself up actually guffawing.

Real laughter is welcome here too, preferred...Hooting will work better than nothing...

Beautiful and lyrical! Thanks for your note Shobana; will be off line for a few days, and catch up by the weekend. Hope you're ok.

Re: Awaken
Hi CC, Thank you. Well, truly I don't know how to spell big words too.. I think we shall have to revert to Sam..sometimes she uses big words and I try to pretend I know the meaning before I check on it ..LOL.

Awaken

A string of emotions here Shobana poignant whispers that encourage the reader to feel.

And I don't know how to spell big words, I think it is quite good, because the content invokes a reaction .

Oh, Phew!  I'm glad it was a happy poem!  I must be in dark mood to see it in a dark light!

It sounds to me like something is lying dormant, waiting to be found...and yet there is wrath disguised behind the laughter?  Perhaps a wait too long?
