Z I used to love to swim in my backyard pool past my garden of sweet Williams, petunias, marigolds, zinnias, and other flowers and then the Viburnum American Cranberry hedge and look over at the stone fireplace and patio. In August the maple leaves began yo fall. When my father took me to the raspberry patch on the old dairy farm I picked up the first fallen leaf and named it Leafy. I brought it home love. That is the beauty of our Redeemer! I could visualize it all and the soothing relief, too! I like Autumn, too! sam

THE AUTUMN TIME OF OUR LIFE ...THIS IS LOVELY AS YOU FLOAT
IN THE WATER...THE PAIN EASING AWAY.

I liked how you approached this by letting the poem write itself, and not hitting someone over the head with a religious idea. But why not just title this piece "Redemtion"?...and let the reader figure it out. Actually, I'm glad I read this one because I haven't thought about redemption lately, and it just seems so much more personal than an idea of god. Ok, so you touched me today. Thanks.
