Re:
FSI, I agree. In 1967 Bobby chose to oppose LBJ because of a huge split in the opinion of the country over Vietnam. This war today has enough support so far, and the only other major issue is the economy, and Obama is the one who bailed the economy out in 2008. I think it's more likely that Hillary will join the ticket. Grampa Joe could really give a flip at this point.

I don't see Obama being challenged. Hillary sounds interesting, but I'm just not sure that she would go through with it.
The Republicans don't exactly have anyone that I can see resonating with the masses. Some say that Obama is going to go down like Carter, but I don't see a Reagan.
As for Sarah Palin I don't see her getting the nod. Those who like her really are excited about her, but I know plenty of Republicans indifferent to her or dislike her.

I can't believe she would have a serious shot at the nomination, let alone
the office. But as I know, politics is a stranger beast than well, most anything else..:) I sincerely wish the party system could expand, rise and offer viable, winnable choices - not the hidden-agenda driven Tea Party ilk, but one or maybe more that is really people powered, instead of big money, big interest funded.
Thanks for the information!
