Ariala....I appreciate you stopping by and dropping off your 2 cents.....
I agree with you much more than you think. I do not believe in foisting my religious beliefs onto someone else...that is why I avoid the religion blogs. I would however like to point out that I do believe that with Islam it is not the religious aspect that concerns me.
I had a comment in one of Justi's post that Blogit deleted (to the delight of the thought police lurking here) on this very matter....everyone that is getting emotional over the Islam discussions is doing so from their religious or spiritual point of view. I do not.....I approact Islam as a political movement that uses religion to gain support from the masses but has motives that are purely geopolitical, based on a goal of spreading the movement and enslaving those unwilling to fall in step.
Nuat, if I may include him in our discussion, I believe makes his marvelous posts with that same outlook in mind.....Western Civilization has to understand the geopolitical aspect of this thing or it will erode away in the dust of this dangerous storm.

Corbin, theologically and politically I probably agree more with the right
than the left, but I don't like the contention either side puts out there, whether bullying and victimizing or playing the victims. Guess that's why I stay out of political/religious fights. They're impossible. I don't like the intolerance of Islam, but I recognize that not all factions (or rather, people) of that group are like that. I don't like the negative tendencies among Christian groups either. I think that Jesus looks at the heart man, not their collective religion and their biases. He tries to reach beyond that. We need to do the same thing. If we let our prejudices rule, we will not seek to reach the world with the Gospel truth. That's my two cents on such subjects.

I find it asinine....as with most of the dribble you say. How could I find you threatening? An annoyance maybe....but never threatening........LOL!

You're finding my comment threatening?
That's what I'm saying about paranoia.
Point out where I've made a threat, if you can

This is an awesome post and makes complete logical sense!
I guess the thing is, is that you and I would disagree with who here may be the real victim(s) and who are the paranoid(s).
I always consider the one's who threats are made towards as the victims, but I know it is your view to side with the one's making the threats, since those are the ones who you share much in common with.
