We have a 5 year old who thinks we are irrelevant - until she needs something. Come to think of it we have a 45 year old who thinks we are irrelevant - until she needs something. Why do we put up with it; as you say, Pat, Love.

It must be wonderful to sit watching great grandbabies at play...to see
the generations of your descendants.....I adore being a grandmother and wonder what being great gran would be like. I must say your little ones sound absolutely delightful and isn't it wonderful ow at that age they really just love you....and to see your child enjoying being a grandparent as well.........you are blessed.

I am so fortunate to have mine live close by. So close, that sometimes Granny looks exhausted..but happy too, LOL. Smiled at your end comment!

You have made me miss mine terribly. And yet, I don't want to go traveling in this hot weather clear to Florida just to hold them. Ah, life is wistful when family is apart.

hahaha, I think the "I know everything" syndrome starts earlier now - around 12 or 13. Very sad, but something incredibly amusing to watch, no? But you're very right - the little ones are precious - and it's usually quite a joy to watch them grow up.
