I'm amazed too when I see new grocery stores and drug stores pop up. How many can an area support. I'm also amazed at how banks seem to be everywhere. Some banks seem to have a branch on every bank. It's like they're all trying to give each and everyone their own branch. Like you, I wonder how the market supports them all.

ffffor the haisdresser , food , clothes on their back, furniture ...everything. Bling and consumer goods were their lives......How did your Kabu manage with this......I just blissfully went along being myself. when we socialized I always made sure that my hair looked good, my nails perfect...I wore acrylics ...... my makeup understated; I wore one or two pieces of real jewelery ....great shoes...I used to buy them in Singapore for nothing......and my own style of dress. That way it didn't matter that it came from the cheap end of town.

You are so right Lustor... there will always be the haves and have nots... and there is as DS said Government money floating around and lets not forget all the drug money that needs to be washed, but all those businesses opening up mean jobs and possible prosperity for us all so lets all pray that they make it :-) xoxoxo

I think the disparity will always be this way! But it is good for the economy when these things come about! sam

The recession is an enigma, the only thing our country's (england) building is debt. By the way I recently joined blogit so far I've found you can showcase talent and vent frustrations simultaneously it's great :-)
