I've been catching up here - as always, having great fun reading you, especially your story!
Enjoy your daughter's visit! And about the heat: I too was being 'mommied' today! For the first time in weeks I got on the indoor track to do a few laps, only to be stopped and told I wasn't allowed because it was too hot (somewhere over 90). So they forced me to do my running outside, where it was even hotter, of course...

Have a great visit with your daughter....tell her that's why God gave women hips! Well, it's the second reason....the first was to shake 'em to get the babies!

It's been so long ago, I forgot about the "kid on the hip syndrome." LOL
I had seven straight years of washing diapers for four steppingStones, so I know all about that. Yes, you got that right--washing diapers. Disposable diapers began about then, but they were horrible--nothing like those of today.
