Re: dg, depr & abuse are passed gen to gen. Few escape neg impact. Get help!
Yes, it is an ongoing process getting help. When my daughter was younger (under 18) I drug her to therapy and psychiatrists. Now all I can do is urge her to get help. She agrees it is needed and yet never gets around to going. As for my sister, she goes to counseling quite regularly but the counselor can only work with the information they are given. I'm sure she has never told a therapist of her drug issues!

A needs to grow up. What she chooses to do is one thing, but to involve children is quite another

Re:
We have not been able to discuss this yet, since Saturday was very busy for both of us. However, my daughter is now leaning more toward an apartment. The thought of the upkeep on a yard seems to be the primary motivator!

I do not blame you for being angry at A. Smoking pot in front of the kids is not a good thing...You are going about the situation with the right approach, as some investigative workd needs to occur in order to see whether or not renting the house is the way to go.
