Contemplation keeps the memories alive within us, embracing them is important..... you'll always remember Shobana. Beautiful poem...

Indeed, there is no turning back! Christopher told me tonight that he is headed for Afghanistan soon, and truly, no turning back! I hope you are doing okay! You have grieving to go through and I have you in my prayers, Sweetie! Love you dearly, too! Your sam

How true it is.  But, I'm so thankful for memories.

The poem addresses the reality of "what it is is what it is" well. I know many would love just one more moment...

Shobana
No turning back time but travelling in mind and memory and with your creativity and love, know your Dad can travel into your life and mind from his new home of peace. God Bless you both luv. Watch for a butterfly, or a hummingbird and he will make himself known to you whom he loves

shobana, no turning back time...and maybe its a good thing we can't
and just have to rely on memories (good ones hopefully)...if we could turn back time and perhaps change some of the things we've said and done, that would be great, but we can't, so we just have to move on... (not easy to do, I know)......

Good poem Shobana sometimes one can stand and wonder why the world does not stop, when it has stopped for someone we love, but that is the way of life and so we carry on until we gradually lose the harsh pain which is replaced by acceptance and love. Don't bother to read me see journal please.

We can sort of turn back time due to our memories.
We can relive some things at least for a few moments. Oh course we can't change things, but only in our mind.
Very lovely poem
