I remember old folks just watching youngsters and shaking their heads, no warnings, no suggestions or help, just watching. More fun like that, I think.

The circle of life also exhausts me more and more, where it used to excite and inspire me.  I am becoming more of a hermit, an observer, than a participant.  But, I am so thankful that I have wonderful memories of having participated for so many years in such wonders of nature and anthropological pursuits.

I knooooooooooooooooooow. Too  short for this old desert snake. I need hot sunny rocks to stretch out upon in winter or I die !!! Your gardens are gloriuos for all their short lived glitter and glam. My garden complains of the heat and lack of water and just maintains its life.

And I know, I am becoming a hermit. Some people need to get out and bout with others, but I love just being alone. Well, not counting the dogzzzzzzzzz.

I love..adore...can'tlive without. My garden is looking wonderful but it will die with the frost and then return next Spring......summer is short up here.
