Take care and bless us from from above
Z For those of us that it doesn't comfort the song's just poetic. The country singer means his memory. He might have the backgound I don't know. In any event the Old Testament Book of Isaiah says that the dead are ignorant of the living. They can't see and aren't aware of what's happening in the world. They have heavenly things whatevet they are but there's recognition and no marriage. I'm not looking for those mansions yet myself. Have a good grief process. However enjoy life love. Lo Shobana What better ending could a man have than to be encompassed with the love of his family through his final days. May God bless you all. Your Daddy can feel no pain and you have wonderful memories of him. Make a fuss of your Mother she needs it at this time. C.C.

Oh, shobana, I am so sorry for you. At the same time, I am so thankful that you had a wonderful father that you loved dearly and that your heart is filled with tender and loving memories. May you have peace in your heart at this sorrowful time, but many tears in your eyes, for it is the time for grieving.

Shobana, my heart goes out to you. When my dad passed I cried for three days and wrote a poem called "Daddy Said". It was a collection of daddy's best sayings, ending with "...vote a straight Democrat ticket"! I was too unstable, but my mother wanted it read at the funeral mass. So I asked my big brother to recite it. He did and it was a beautiful contribution. I'll see if I can find it.
