Re: National Debt
The national debt is the macroeconomic form of credit mercantilism which is plaguing the US and world economies. It appears that China is the big winner of the credit mercantile struggle, certainly in relation to us, so servicing our national debt through taxes on wages is underwriting an authoritarian regime.

Re: Wage System
As presently constituted and with its dominance of the economy, the wage system is little more than slavery through a micro-economic form of mercantilism. I cringe every time I hear some politician touting his "accomplishment" of creating or saving jobs. We should be eliminating our dependence on jobs, not feeding it!

I hope our National Debt doesn't get work this way. It can be a struggle to live anyway and have some personal life and fun in between.
