Thank you Taps The imaginary Parrot is now caged and I know you are fond of birds. So please accept it. This one is blue green and yellow but doesn't speak unless spoken to, a nice cage though.

Thank you for calling Shobana I don't feel much anger these days, well one has to be well behaved amongst distiguished visitors. I have put that damned parrot in a cage. I know what am going to do with it.

Cool play on words and simply entertaining 'stream of consciousness' and free verse writing.  I tell you CC - I LIKE it ~ You have a great twist with your pen and certainly it is  'free' but most of all - creative - EE  (sack cloth and all)

CC, a little anger here..I sense. Maybe wrong but as usual so brilliantly put. It does get a bit upsetting if the parrot just keeps squawking..

I am picturing a parrot
repeatedly squawking,
"sackcloth & ashes,
sackcloth & ashes"
instead of "pieces of eight".
Great is the grate brought down
over the idiots head.
