Thank you for the prayers! After thinking it over, she may follow his advise. Tough decision but ultimately, this way would get everyone paid off eventually and honor her responsibilities.

I agree with FSI - not an attorney so cannot advise and certainly won't judge due to ethics however, I would hope you and your daughter will follow your hearts - Bankruptcy can hold on for a long while no matter what anyone says.  I keep you and yours in my prayers. Elyse

Unfortunately I am not a laywer, therefore, I cannot give advice on the subject. I imagine too that there are situations specific to your daughter's situation that made the laywer give the advice...Like you I do not like the idea of running away from one's problems. Having been in business one thing I can say is that what is ethical does not always make its way to business.
