Hmmm - what a vivid imagination of course CC - I can't help but giggle often with these reads because you truly are so creative with the story - now an elephant with beer - I wonder? and I'm certain it happens. I have been to a circus about 2 - no 3 times and I thoroughly am mesmerized each time. with it all - with every single person, animal - trick et al. Write on dear CC - EE

Re:
OK John what do you want me to be a disillusioned comedian. Anyway I preferred Hancock.
believe me I find it hard to write anything typing with one finger and not the faintest idea how to spell long words like dslec dslex. Well you get the point and as you are comparatively young chap and I don't feel any peer animosity towards you, I do agree with your finer points, but as these things don't pay green gages and I often feel like climbing the apples and pears or thinking that I am going from worse to bad or the other way round, a concession had to be made, so I have changed the style a wee bit. Really it is your fault for not applying your talent until late in the series.

Re: elephants and ponies
I can ensure Bob I have vetted them all personally and I would willingly let one of the elephants walk over you, but it would be a pink one.

Re: Oh, the plot deepens most interestingly, C.C...
Well Katray I did read somewhere that the elephants were becoming sozzled after a fermented fruit intake and they were unsteady on their feet, I know the feeling

Re: you are a lotof fun you and your animals and alcohol and stuff.
Well Kabu it is a problem to keep thinking of the other thing, I think you would have been brill in a circus as the lady who skins snakes and eats them alive. That's an old saying from somewhere.

Re:
To be honest lionreign I know more about gypsies and showies did you know a low form of gipsy was called a hedge poker presumably that was where the bed was made. My father was a blood brother to a gypsy sounds romantic but one wonders about the knife.

Interesting off-beat rhyme, with a twist on the 4th quaters somehow squaring off. This is no iambic, and I'm not sure it works. It seems you are working with 2 rhythms, but they are not repetitively consistent. On the other hand, your comments are becomming a more interesting read. Have you been watching the re-runs of Benny Hill?

Helen is experiencing way too much excitement there. At her age I would be worried myself, maybe even now.

elephants and ponies
Good way to meet'em, if that's what you want to do, though I'm not sure
i'd enjoy their society much if they were hammered. The thought of a chummy elephant apalls me, but then that;s me.
