That kind of active negativity must have been so damaging for you all
it's tragic how much power one person has to corrupt the experience of others

Too bad Fryder apparently did not remember the sins of the tongue throughout the Bible.
Can't wait for the rest!

I have always hated labels and name calling. They always make the one branded be as labeled to the one doing the branding. It can continue to the extent that the branded one can begin to believe that it is true and can literally be box into being limited in what they should have been able to achieve.

Your story bring to mind a 50's TV show called "I Remember Mama"......
The show started........."I remember the big white house on Steiner Street, and my little sister Dagmar, and my big brother Nels, and Papa. But most of all, I remember Mama."
It was the story of a Norwegian-American family living in San Francisco in 1910. The story is told through the eyes of daughter Katrin (Rosemary Rice). The show opened looking through the pages of the family album and remembering.........
The difference is Stephen King would be producing your story.......you and your siblings endured so much...I am hoping for a happy ending....but I fear the worst.

How terrible to be so withdrawn at the hand of another! Invisible shackles! I am glad you found it in you to stand up to him. He was destroying so many lives with his controlling! sam

He took out the joy to childhood...I am curious to see what the standing up to him amounted to.

Did this guy have a job, or was he hanging around the house all day, making everybody miserable?

An odd creature, full of hell. Unfortunately, children are still terrorized by such creatures. Good storytelling of a bitter story.
