I understand how it could have felt like a failure because you had put so
much time into it.
But it seems like you are really happy doing what you are doing, and that is what is important.

I worked jobs that I absolutely hated for over a decade. The stress got to me and ruined my mental health for work in general.

I wish I would have done something I would have enjoyed more. The most I would have lost is like a buck an hour, that would have put me at minimum wage.

Your new description is all encompassing and gives you plenty of latitude! It makes me think I should revisit my blog descriptions, too! sam

No reason to not express your opinion
because you feel like you don't have the credentials. You've got a mind, that's all you need

"Another problem is that to give opinions I feel requires research that I do not have the energy to do."

A great post my friend and that was a great sentence and I sure can relate to that, I don't give many opinions out either for the same reason.....

FSI, well done. In evolving you have decidedly learnt and passed on that experience and wisdom. Kudos to you. I will say this thing about facebook, I don't have one but ignorant minds can make it their paradise.

FSI
In writing one often takes a path different from the one intended! That's why authors always write the prefaces and intoductions to their work last...
