This is very good, and very thought-provoking! A real exhortation to reflect...

You found a way to say a thing I always thought was unsayable!!! You touched the point where poetry becomes magic. This resonates in places where I didn't realize I had places! (See? You've got ME trying to be poetic! ) You should be very proud of this poem.

Wow! Absolutely wonderful! 1st 4 lines brought me right in. (are you ready to accept the bane of phenominal poetry?)I usually don't like poems that tell me what to do or how to think, but that's only because they haven't suffered the experience to transform language--and one goes with the other. In this case (your poem) the window is so clearly definded, the exposition (rest of poem)puts the fragmented pieces back into the Big Window. In this sense, it would seem to be a document of your own break-through to your own self- understanding of spirituality (halleighluha.!... a word I like because I just found out how to spell it). I'm not sure your readers are going to follow you here, but I'll put this one up against anything I ever read! So there!

I wish I could go back and change some of those shadows Simone, but then I expect we all do a nicely thought out poem.
