It reminded me of when I was late before when I had to pick up a kid! Not too often but they sure look sad until they see the car! sam

Re:
Thank you for calling EE. I guess I know how you felt. Once one could have walked for miles as child and would have only received help, but that was yesterday.

What a wonderful - no delightful read here. Albeit chock full of emotional 'worry' and such.
Reminds me of a time my daddy was running late and we had just moved to a new town and I did not know how to get home (he always said I had a case of 'bad direction') and when I called him from a payphone --- I was hysterical until he could calm me and I couldn't wait until he came and hurriedly pick me up...
such was my early teen life. What a memory. EE

Re: I don't think Dad will be late again. Those scamps gave him quite a fright.
Hi Kabu is this a runner for a while it is easy writing. There are a lot of big houses, but it is a job keeping them going I imagine. The Inland Revenue sharpens its claws.

Such an ability to get into the minds of them all. I loved it, as I do all of them. Be blessed in all your ways.

The interactions between John and Helen remind me of that between kids I see today and events from the past that included other kids and myself.

taking off like that. Nobody ever likes the girl or boy from the big house.....I don't think we had anyone living in a big house where I grew up...every one was a farmer..or worked for a farmer. Again this is so enjoyable.
