Thanks spitfire
It really helps to get support from someone who's dealing with it herself

I totally hear you on this and
I've been reading your recent posts but I haven't commented til now. Depression is something I've struggled with all my life. I've been on and off of meds throughout the years. I'm currently starting a new one. I hope things get better for you, me and all suffering from this. It's even rougher right now with the current economy and all other ills in the world. Pray, try and find and recognize the positives and keep in mind that things can and are worse for others. That's what keeps me going at my lows. Blessings....

I think some medication is a good idea but not to the point of just wanting
to sleep your life away.

Thanks Waterkat
I believe I can be cured without drugs, but the drugs are helping me along until I reach that point

I can so relate on the medication! The adjustment seems to take forever with the increase/decrease as they try to find a level that works best! I hope your SS gets in order for you soon, it doesn't help the situation when one has to worry about paying bills and not being unable to work! Now when you get that fat check try to put some away for a rainy day! sam

About Your Depression,,,,
The following is a copy of an old post of mime which I hope might help you with your depression and struggle:
I have written so much on depression but I want to reinforce this one main point as it is so true, and I would love to encourage more people to try and deal with their depression without DRUGS, and I believe it can be done. 'Why is so many peoples answer to depression Medication? How can it be so simple as a chemical imbalance when depression is far from anything simple?!'
The following article on my website gives valuable insight into this subject:
Depression- A Glimmer of Hope
