I for one am very interested about what the national scene will look like after November. For now it does not look to bode well for the Democrats...Maryland though I do not think will still vote for Democrats. I would be surprised if Bob Ehrlich were to beat O'Malley. Heck, I don't think the Republicans have a candidate for the Senate.

I'm moving to Australia. From what I have seen and heard about Australia I like it. Eat me a vegimite sandwich then off to the outback I go!

Re: Re: AIN'T IT GREAT?!
Trust me I know Sarah is at the top of the heap but as I said, for now, I will hold my peace until I see all of the cards on the table.

Re: I think the unemployment benefit extension fiasco could alter this scenario
Raye, that is a good point, added to the fact that the GOP has no clear candidate or issue, It is possible for Obama to hang on -- but the Congress will definitely flip over.  It's too late to save them.

I will watch with interest
it's a shame that voters in both our countries can't be more educated in the causes of things...

I think the unemployment benefit extension fiasco could alter this scenario
Millions of destitute Americans with no jobs and now zilch income are blaming Republicans; fairly or not, wherever the truth may lie. I blame both parties for playing political games with people's lives.
Interesting post, dsm.

One thing for sure, the next election is very important, and I would like
see how anyone will save us from BK. because right now it looks like it is inevitable. I believe it is a possibility even before the next election. If the Commercial RE market is going to crash, as it seems to be doing, we would have nothing left to do other than BK. That kind of catastrophe is just unbearable for me right now.

And the political circle continues! It is all a matter of how things are going at the time a political party is in control. sam

AIN'T IT GREAT?!
Well, it is extremely obvious that the liberal administration is imploding from within in less than two years. However, this conservative Republican will wait for awhile before deciding who to support. On your list you have there, Perry is interesting but I would still have to dig deep into investigating him. I do not want Gingrich at all. Anyone who supported a liberal with an 'R' next to her name in New York will not receive my vote. Sorry but Gingrich is not conservative enough for me. The rest I would have to think about.
