For me, it is a civic duty! The system will not work with jurors! It might work to show all the tattoos but it might not and he could get selected as a result! sam

I've been called many times
and chosen for jury duty three or four times. I consider it a duty tied to citizenship--like voting. Most people who have some intelligence and are pretty sharp, end up getting excused. I have been on enough juries with people who have no clue that I would never choose a jury trial. I would put my fate in the hands of a judge rather than 12 people who want to make a quick decision so they don't have to come back the next day! I have to admit, though, I was on a grand jury once and that lasted for months. It was interesting and not as boring as a courtroom trial.

I hated jury duty when I had it. Thankfully the jury filled out before I was to be considered.
