You covered each of the five senses in this poem. All have an impact on this relatioship and the gender issues you cover.

Re:
Thank you SF I thought you said that, I like the feminine side of women as long as they feel equal and hide their masculine power. I am being sweet today so everything I say is a compliment or meant to be. Not very good at it these days .

thanks for your visit cc. I guess you have connected to the poem in someway. I like the feminine side of men, they just need to learn how to embrace it.....what a wonderful place we could all live in then. no need to show masculine power in a negative way.

Re: sam
Hi Sam thank you for calling, I suppose we all dance to the siren call of that which we thought we had forgotten. Never mind we can always suck a peppermint.

Re:
Hi Shobana I feel I should say something sweeter to the ladies, I was amazed when I bought six sherbet fountains last week not by the grinning assistant, but the liquorice one use to suck it through is now solid and a plastic cap replaces the old twist system. I really found it more messy because one has to dip the liquorice into the sherbet and lick it off. It's hygiene.
Thank you for your sweet comment.

Re:
Thank you jfm, This is merely explaining the facts. We all know what little girls are made, of in case you have forgotten (sugar and spice and all things nice). I won't mention little boys.
Perhaps some kind lady will tell you when you try to pull a piece of candy.

Well, I can see that this one is not about a flower pot! One thing I've been noticing about your poems is that they are exactly what they seem to be. In this one it seems to be about making preserves or candy--though Ive been re-reading and can't find the recipie. On the other hand, you seem to have gotten inside the process. I don't know if this is on another plane, but I'll have some of what you're having.

I truly think you are on a different plane than most. That means your poem is good. And I am a fan of your stories also.
