You are a very special man. Not many people can pull this off, because they don't really want to. Instead, they like to entertain the thoughts of "I have a right to be bitter".
Positive always works for me. I don't do negative well.

timmy, on that recent hbo movie between clinton and tony blaire, i noticed that in the heat of debate clinton would slur and slime, blaire would pause, not respond to the negatives but proceed to making his case. At the end when clinton was forced to act on Kosovo by blaire going public, clinton really let loose with a string of epithets and scurrulous charges. blair responded, 'why bill, that sounded vaguely like an insult.' great!

Being in sales, I have been yelled at a lot, called everything in the book. I always hold my tongue and remain calm, allowing the customer to "go off". They soon find it difficult to continue in a rage when I am calm and not fighting back. They cool off quickly and we go from there
