I need to get my hands on them. I imagine they would be of great benefit during those tough times I tend to go through...

Re: teach
Wiley, me too. BTW, I read somewhere that recovering AA's are subject to depression. I wish people who desperately need it would stop seeing anti-depressants as tranquilizers.

Well it's an interesting hypothesis but in my case I've been sober 42 years, went through horrendous grief for over 7 years but I am content with anti-depression medication.....

Further to my comment I feel drugs should only be given by professional Doctors. One really needs to find the reason and we have clinics that specialize in this disorder, but I don't know if this service is available everywhere.

Well dsm I felt something like that once and I thought I'll go and sit in the Church, It was a long walk and I went to lift the latch on the door and it was locked. I don't think I ever cried until I was twenty-six. Later in life I found that it was therapeutic. We don't need to punish ourselves more than we can help, other factors do that. I'm sure your books gave good advice. There are many afflicted, but it is hard to break through to offer relief and I suppose drugs are less time consuming when trying to effect a cure. Be happy

Re:
lustor, Ok, can you talk to him at all? just getting an understanding of how the body wears itself out like that encouraged me to try.

It is true what is says on depression and which is why a good cry is the first step to healing. Men hardly do that and suppress their feelings quite a bit dsm I feel.
